Roadkill a worsening problem
A petition is calling on the public to stop needless animal deaths on Manx roads.
It's been launched following a highly-publicised incident where three ducks were hit by a vehicle near East Baldwin earlier this month.
Campaigners believe it was a deliberate act.
The driver has not been identified.
The Manx Hedgehog Conservation Society says it's seen a 'shocking' increase in roadkill over the summer, including hedgehogs, rabbits and birds.
Sandy Huyton will be running the charity's stall at the Royal Agricultural Show at Knockaloe Farm today:
"We think it's inhumane the way he was treated."
