Police have labelled the deliberate killing of a Foxdale girl's pet rabbit a "sick act of cruelty".
The black and white Dutch breed went missing from its home some time between Friday October 5th and Saturday October 6th.
Its mutilated remains were found on land in Higher Foxdale yesterday evening.
Pc Darren Wylde of Peel Police says it's clear the rabbit had been killed by a person and not another animal.
He says they're currently seeking any information on the matter, which has left the rabbit's nine year old owner very distressed.
If you know anything about the matter, please contact Pc Wylde at Peel Police Station on 842208, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
