Person with Covid-19 in ICU

Five new cases detected

One person with Covid-19 is in intensive care at Noble’s Hospital.

Government has confirmed the individual is not one of the new cases detected in the last 24 hours. 

Two new community cases of the virus were detected last night.

The chief minister confirmed in Tynwald earlier today that a further three had been identified through contact tracing.

Howard Quayle said one of those was in a ‘school setting’.

Of the new cases two are believed to originate from the IM8 postcode area.
