Alarm raised in early hours
Coastguard, a helicopter, members of the RNLI, police and search and rescue dogs were involved in a major search in Ramsey early this morning (Tues 21).
The alarm was raised around 2am following reports that a person had entered the sea.
Misty conditions hampered the rescue effort, but after two hours of searching the bay, a person was found.
They received medical treatment from members of the lifeboat.
There are no other details on their condition at this morning.
