Residents asked to report missing items
A person has been arrested on suspicion of carrying out a spate of thefts in the south of the Island overnight.
Police say the individual was apprehended by its overnight team.
The constabulary is now asking residents in Gansey, Port St Mary, and Colby to check their vehicles, sheds and outbuildings for missing items.
Anyone who notices any belongings are missing are asked to contact Police Headquarters on 631 212.
Officers are reminding people to not ignore basic security measures, lock their vehicles and secure any outbuildings.
