Island not shown to be doing anything wrong
A former tax director at Equiom says he doesn't believe Monday's Panorama programme showed the Isle of Man to be doing anything wrong.
The two-part BBC programme highlighted alleged tax evasion practices of the rich and famous using offshore finance centres such as Bermuda, Jersey and the Isle of Man.
The information was contained in the so-called Paradise Papers.
Speaking on this morning's (Wed) extended Mandate programme, Phil Dearden said whilst another debate over the Island's share of VAT receipts was a concern, he didn't believe there had been any reputational damage to the Island.
