11am silence to mark one year since Russia invaded Ukraine
People on the Island will come together today (24 February) for a ‘national moment of reflection’.
A minute’s silence is being held at 11am to mark 365 days since Russia invaded Ukraine.
The chief minister has described it as an opportunity to demonstrate ‘continued solidarity and support’ and to pay tribute to Ukrainians for their ‘resilience and courage’.
Legislative Buildings in Douglas will also be lit up in yellow and blue as a ‘sign of solidarity’.
First in series of 'Isle be Ready' sessions to take place next month
