Cannan says issue should be in ‘public consciousness’
People on the Isle of Man need to have ‘open and frank’ conversations about the menopause.
That’s the message from the chief minister who believe it’s a topic which hasn’t been as important in ‘public consciousness’ as it should have been.
In Tynwald Alfred Cannan confirmed his government is supporting World Menopause Day which is taking place today.
He was quizzed by Douglas South MHK Claire Christian who told Manx Radio it was a 'really important topic'.
Mr Cannan said work is ongoing to provide people with the best possible support at home and at work:
No date set for reopening of NCAS reuse centre
Police urge public to check person's identification if claiming to be a police officer
2026 Manx Youth Games taking place today
