New members wanted for HSCOB
People who are interested in helping to review unresolved medical complaints are being invited to come forward.
The Health and Social Care Ombudsman Body is recruiting new members.
The body, which has been in operation since 2023, has reviewed more than 120 complaints in the last three years.
New members do not require health or social care qualifications; instead they need a passion for improving current services.
Anyone interested in applying for a role is invited to attend an informal meeting at the Santander Work Café in Douglas between 1pm and 4pm today (29 April).
Existing members will be there to discuss what’s involved in joining, and being part of, the HSCOB.
