Move not a shock says Negotiations Officer
A local union official has welcomed the postponement of a Tynwald debate and vote on public sector pensions proposals.
Government this week pulled the debate from the Tynwald agenda, saying some members had requested more time to go over the details.
Prospect Negotiations Officer Angela Moffatt had called on them to reject the proposals as they stand.
She says what happened in Tynwald this week was not really a shock:
Review of taxi fares extended to assess impact of Middle East conflict
Owner of a block of flats fined for failing to meet fire safety regulations
Investigation underway following Sea Terminal incident
