Community invited to get involved
Next month, the Isle of Man will remember those who fought in the First World War, as the centenary of its end is marked.
Many towns and parishes around the Island will be holding their own events.
For example, in Peel Cathedral there will be a display of doves – one to represent each of the 106 men from the town who were killed.
Rosemary Clarke from the cathedral says it will visualise what would have been a huge loss:
Carers: 'They are often the quiet heroes of our Island'
Hooper: 'Time to bite the bullet and build new hospital'
'No final decisions' made yet about relocating dementia patients says Manx Care
'We want to provide a facility for almost anybody'
