Family-friendly event running across today and tomorrow (25-26 July)
This weekend, the Peel Sea Fest is returning for its second year.
It replaced the Traditional Boat Weekend in 2024, which had been running for 30 years previously.
The new event incorporates parts of the old format, but it's hoped there'll be something for everyone.
Commodore of Peel Sailing and Cruising Club, Roger Cave and events committee member, Sue Taylor both agree they want it to be an occasion for the town as a whole:
The event will take place across today and tomorrow (25-26 July) and is billed as an experience the whole family can enjoy.
Activities that will be on include live music and entertainment as well as boat trips and yacht racing.
