Police have named the man found dead in Peel on Christmas Eve.
He was 57-year-old Philip John Brown, who was from the town.
Mr Brown's body was found in the area of Peel Yacht Club, at the southern end of the promenade, shortly before 5pm.
Police say Mr Brown's family has been told and the death is not being treated as suspicious.
The coroner of inquests has been informed.
