27-year-old committed to Court of General Gaol
A Peel man accused of trying to smuggle cannabis to the Island has been committed to stand trial at the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Twenty-seven-year-old Shaun Ray Thomson, of Fenella Terrace, appeared at Douglas Courthouse.
At an earlier hearing he pleaded not guilty to being concerned in producing cannabis, attempting to possess it and being concerned in supplying the class B drug.
He was committed to the higher court and will appear there on a date to be fixed.
