Work could start next January
Peel town centre is getting ready for a makeover after regeneration proposals have been given planning permission.
The £450,000 scheme hopes to refurbish the area from Market Square and St Peter's Church to Michael Street.
If the plans also get funding approval, work could start as early as January 2016 and be completed by Easter.
Chairman of Peel Commissioners and member of the Peel Regeneration Committee, Ray Harmer says the plans will benefit the whole community:
Funding of government services 'not sustainable'
Manx Care undertaking 'comprehensive validation' of ENT waiting lists
Taxi fares on the Island to rise
Surgeon announces he's standing in General Election
