Work had been stopped during lockdown
The dredging of Peel Marina has been extended for one month, meaning it will go on until the end of June.
Work had been halted for four weeks during the coronavirus lockdown, before resuming at the end of April.
Two tractors with trailers are being used to move the dredged material away from the marina to a temporary drainage pool in a field upstream, with the work taking place from 7am to 7pm, Monday to Saturday.
Closures remain in place on the heritage trail and Mill Road to facilitate the transportation of it.
