
Peel Commissioners have hit out at the decision to centralise the registration of births, deaths and marriages.
Describing the General Registry's move as 'unilateral', the local authority says Peel residents will be severely inconvenienced, adding it's not in the best interests of them or funeral directors.
Ramsey and Castletown will also be affected.
