Residents reminded of possible disruption
Motorists are being reminded of road closures ahead of a community event in the west of the Island later this week.
Several roads are affected when Peel Carnival takes place on Sunday (August 7).
From 10am on August 7, Station Road to East Quay will be closed - as will Station Place to Victoria Road, East Quay to Shore Road and Victoria Road to Walpole Road.
Parking will be temporarily suspended in a number of places too, such as Marine Parade to Peveril Road.
The department of infrastructure is also reminding people of one-way systems that will be operating on the day.
More information, including a full list of road closures, can be found at the government's website, gov.im, or by phoning the helpline on 201 039.
All roads are scheduled to open at 6pm later that day.
