
Police are appealing for witnesses after an accident which left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
It happened at around 10.30pm on Friday on the Peel to St Johns Road, near to Peel cemetery.
A Mercedes car being driven towards St Johns by a Douglas man was in collision with a man on foot.
The pedestrian was taken to Nobles Hospital where he was detained with serious injuries.
Officers say they’d like to speak to anybody who was travelling along the road before the accident who may have seen the man walking towards St Johns.
