Helicopter called to scene on Lezayre Road
A 70-year-old man has been flown to the UK for medical treatment after a serious road traffic collision.
It happened on Lezayre Road at the junction of Gardeners Lane at 2.50pm.
Police have confirmed to Manx Radio the man was a pedestrian and was struck by a vehicle.
