Minister says completing negotiations will allow training for new officers to resume
The infrastructure minister is hopeful pay talks between her department and air traffic controllers will soon be resolved.
Michelle Haywood told Manx Radio the ongoing negotiations have meant training within the service has stopped.
Air traffic control at Ronaldsway was placed under special attention following an audit in the summer, which the minister says came as a result of the lack of training.
In a statement on social media, the Isle of Man Trades Union Council described the situation as 'more than an industrial dispute' and a 'crisis of leadership', but Minister Haywood says that's not the case:
