The funeral of a popular youth worker takes place today.
Forty-nine-year-old Paul Cooper died suddenly earlier this month.
He had worked for the Youth Service for five years and for the last three ran the Soundcheck project, which helps young musicians with rehearsal space, tuition and instrument use.
Soundcheck staff and members past and present have been invited to his funeral which takes place at Douglas Borough Crematorium at 11.30am, followed by a gathering at the Soundcheck studio on Kensington Road in Douglas.
Paul's family have asked mourners to wear what's described as his "uniform" of Soundcheck, rock band or black T-shirt with checked open shirt over, plus Vans or Converse shoes and bright socks.
