It comes two years after it was initially damaged
Patrick Commissioners will be starting work on Glen Rushen Road after a part of the bank was removed two years ago.
The local authority has applied for a road closure notice which will start on 6 January and cover a four week period.
A contractor was chosen to do the work, and a site visit needs to be carried out with the homeowners and the company.
Residents in the area will be contacted by the commissioners with information about access closer to the time.
