Residents can vote on Thursday 15 June
Former Patrick Commissioner Richard Jones says he wants to give residents in the rural area a voice, in the upcoming by-election.
He claims the lack of focus from MHKs mean the 'only voice' residents have is through the commissioners.
A by-election for a new commissioner in Patrick is being held on Thursday 15 June and residents can vote from 8am to 8pm at their allocated polling station.
Mr Jones, who also runs the Knockaloe visitor centre, says local 'needs' should be voiced.
