MCALS set-up by Manx Care
Manx Care says it hopes a new advice and liaison service will help improve engagement with the public.
MCALS launched yesterday (2 August) – it's based on a similar model used in UK NHS trusts.
People will be able to get information, signposting advice, and provide feedback about health services.
Anyone who is receiving clinical treatment should continue to direct their queries through their medical team.
Qualified nurse Doreen Wilkinson will lead a team of three who will be responsible for the confidential advice line.
