Fire and Rescue Service still on scene
Firefighters have confirmed that part of the former Ballacallin Hotel has collapsed.
It follows a fire which started in Dalby in the early hours of this morning.
Due to the location of the blaze around 45 firefighters were called to the scene, on rotation, to ensure that water could be transported from the closest hydrants.
Two people and their dog were removed from a property at the back of the hotel – they were checked by paramedics but did not require hospital admission.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service says a further update will be released when the incident has concluded.
