Parole committee: last chance to apply

Today (Friday) is the closing date for applications to work on the government's parole committee.

Earlier this month, the Department of Home Affairs launched a recruitment drive to find community spirited volunteers to make recommendations about the release and recall of prisoners.

Minister Juan Watterson (pictured) says common sense and judgement are the two main requirements for the role.
