Street party in the north set for this weekend
Ramsey will be closing off much of its town centre this weekend as it gets ready to rock.
The Ramsey Rocks street party (including performances from the Purple Helmets motorcycle stunt team) will mean there's no parking in the areas being used, while the event is set up, takes place and then is cleared away.
The following roads will be closed to traffic from 5pm until 8:30pm on Saturday (4 July) and Sunday from 12 midday to midnight:
West Quay, from Old Post Office Lane to East Quay.
Market Hill from Bourne Place to the junction with King Street.
And the whole of Market Place and its car park.
Parking in those areas won't be allowed for a longer period, from 4pm on the Saturday to 11 on Monday morning.
