One of the Island's recipients of a New Year Honour says he's 'speechless' to have been rewarded for doing something he loves.
Howard Parkin was made an MBE by the King for his outstanding services to the understanding of astronomy and the Manx Community.
He was also instrumental in establishing the Island's 'dark skies' statuses.
