Site urges users to use webcams
Parents on the Isle of Man are being warned about a social media chat room their children might be using.
Omegle is free and anonymous and users are randomly paired with strangers to chat via video call or instant messaging.
Some primary schools on the Island have sent letters urging parents to monitor what their kids might be doing online and reminding them to seek help if they experience anything which makes them feel uncomfortable.
Anyone with concerns about their child's safety is advised to contact their school.
