So says Carol Walsh, Headteacher of Ballacottier Primary School, as parents react to recent action taken by teachers against the education department.
The latest movement in a dispute over pay saw 30 of 32 primary school headteachers on the Island refuse to meet education leaders at a termly meeting.
Mrs Walsh, who is also secretary for the union involved, says parents have shown support for the action:
