Paper tax discs and Island's approach to tackling drug harm on Keys' agenda

Fourteen questions for ministers during today's session

Whilst much of the attention today will be on the Legislative Council and the future of the Bishop's vote, the members of the House of Keys have 14 questions to ask of ministers (11 November).

There are two priority starred questions including Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse asking about the future of the paper tax disc, and when an updated Manx Care Operating Plan will appear.

The subject of MiCards is back on the Keys' agenda, as are brownfield sites and their development.

Mr Moorhouse returns to the subject of Ronaldsway Airport and the aviation safety audit, while he also wants the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister, Clare Barber, to expand on what's being done to encourage people to buy Manx produce.

Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper asks about the effect of changes to the apprenticeship scheme.

While Douglas East MHK Joney Faragher wants to know more about how the Island is tackling drug harm.

And Onchan MHK Julie Edge asks about whether someone on benefits can get support if told they can only get health treatment privately.
