Health Minister outlines vision for future
A panel of experts will discuss alternative approaches to state healthcare in at a public meeting in Douglas this evening (Mon).
The Positive Action Group is hosting its final event of the year at the Manx Museum at 7.30pm.
Health minister David Ashford will be outlining his vision for the NHS.
Legal consultant Gordon Wilson will assess the affordability of the current model and how an increased focus on natural treatment could support Manx agriculture.
Also on the panel are Nigel Taylor and Courtenay Heading of holistic therapy centre Jurby Wellness.
Mr Heading says the new minister has been supportive of their ideas.
