The idea of the Island's voters choosing who should be chief minister has been a hot topic recently, and the issue will be debated this evening at the latest public meeting of the Positive Action Group.
Some believe the debate is long overdue and, earlier this month, South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey gained approval from the House of Keys for the matter to be examined.
Mr Malarkey will speak at tonight's meeting, and PAG chairman Roger Tomlinson says others from the Island's political scene will make contributions (play audio file):
The meeting is at the Manx Legion Club, on North Quay, Douglas at 7.30pm.
