The House of Keys serves the public and should spend more time answering members' questions.
That's the view of the chairman of the Positive Action Group, Roger Tomlinson.
He was speaking on Manx Radio's Talking Heads programme after a proposal from Michael MHK David Cannan to double the length of question time was defeated 17-3 by the House.
Mr Tomlinson says any move to increase the transparency of the political process should be welcomed:
