Ramsey man sentenced to 11 years in prison
A Ramsey man has been sentenced to 11 years in prison, and placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely, for historical child sex offences.
Fifty-year-old Michael James Moore had been convicted of four counts of rape and two indecent assaults on a child.
The offences happened in the early 1990s.
Detective Constable Emily Perkins from the Public Protection Unit has commended the victim for coming forward and remaining strong through the court proceedings.
