Castletown event in its 55th year
There's a chance to put your paddling skills to the test and raise money for a good cause early next month, as he World Tin Bath Championships return to Castletown.
Now in their 55th year, the popular event is organised by the Castletown Ale Drinkers Society and features not only the famous tin bath races, but also snake racing and man-powered flight.
Race organiser Si Martin says that while the day is great fun for competitors and spectators alike, the rules are taken seriously.
He says boats and paddles undergo scrutineering before racing gets underway:
It will take place on Saturday, 4 July.
