Quayle to oversee transition
The chairman of the Steam Packet is to stay on, possibly for as long as a year, to oversee a possible change of ownership.
The Manx Government will pay a maximum of just over £124 million to acquire the ferry company, subject to Tynwald approval next week.
Robert Quayle says he's been in the role for some years but he is willing to stay on for the time being:-
"It's just not sustainable to continue"
