£540K made available for Manx projects
The Chief Minister says he'll be asking Treasury for a rise in the overseas aid budget.
It's new strategy was released yesterday (Mon), outlining new ways to deliver the Isle of Man's annual £2.4 million commitment to contribute aid and advocacy to those in need around the world.
The application process has now officially opened up to Manx-registered charities, and £540,000 has been made available for Manx projects over a two-year period.
Charities need to raise a minimum of 10 per cent of their budget. A portion of the last administration's 'Small Grants' scheme will now assist collaborative 'partnerships'
