More than 50,000 people thought to have died
More than £17,000 has been collected on the Isle of Man to provide aid for displaced people in Turkey and Syria.
Last month's powerful earthquakes left homes, hospitals and buildings destroyed and killed more than 50,000 people.
Wendy Shimmin from the One World Centre launched an appeal on the Island to help the Disaster Emergency Committee with relief efforts.
She told Manx Radio the funds have helped to provide food, water, shelter and healthcare:
