Figures revealed in Police's annual report
Crime is up by more than one hundred offences from last year.
That's according to figures released in the Isle of Man Constabulary's annual report.
They comprised primarily of drugs offences, non-domestic burglaries, domestic assaults and public order misdemeanours.
And there has been a noticeable increase in offences involving the possession of weapons, which doubled during the year.
However, crime remains very low on the Island in comparison to the UK, which has had an overall increase in criminal activity of 11%.
