Cretney would end departmental roles for members
An outgoing MLC has predicted that the remit of the Legislative Council could change in future years, to see members become more detatched from government.
Manx Labour Party leader David Cretney plans to step down from the chamber in February.
Speaking on the Mannin Line today, he praised the scrutiny work of the Social Affairs Policy Review Committee:
