Lif-saving device installed in Kirk Michael
Outdoor defibrilators will save lives - that's the message from local charity Craig's Heartstrong Foundation.
It joined with the Ambulance Service to provide the first instant access easy-to-use outdoor kit at the Kirk Michael Village Commissioners Office - which was launched last night (Monday).
Local man Chris Corlett's family and friends funded the project after his heart stopped at work and an on-location defibrilator was used to resusitate him.
It's planned that a number of outdoor defibrilators will be installed across the Island as the money becomes available.
