Association talking with tourist sector on packages
British National Cycling Road Race Championship organisers say all teams will be able to travel and stay at the event on the Island in June.
An article at the weekend on the road.cc website claimed smaller teams were being put off coming for financial and logistical reasons.
It prompted Onchan MHK Rob Callister to take to social media saying he had emailed fellow Department of Economic Development members about the story.
He also urged airlines, hotels and the Steam Packet not to hike their prices.
But Isle of Man Cycling Association Chairman Richard Fletcher says they have been working closely with the tourist sector to offer fair packages:
Amber weather warning issued as strong winds and coastal conditions expected overnight

Sailings cancelled as storm brings gale-force winds
