Opposition already to 'living streets' scheme

Opinion will be split, admits minister

An initiative to bring in a series of traffic calming measures to Central and Upper Douglas is already attracting opposition.

The 'living streets' project aims to discourage vehicles using the roads as short cuts. 

And to make the area more pedestrian friendly. A consultation is underway.
