Patient given three days' notice after two-year wait
A Douglas woman says the indefinite postponement of her long-due operation feels like 'the light at the end of the tunnel has been snuffed out'.
Sharon Kissack was due to have her gallbladder out on Thursday, but was told only on Monday the procedure was being put off - because of a lack of bed spaces at Noble's Hospital.
She joined a number of people who have taken to social media recently, to air their concerns at a seemingly growing trend in the Island.
Sharon says she had been anticipating the operation for quite some time.
