Open invitation to Manx Food Fayre

If you make it as far as the Department of Agriculture's gardens in St John's today, you could be in for a a tasty treat.

The department is hosting the second annual Manx Food Fayre at Garey ny Cloie - on the Foxdale Road, about half a mile south of Tynwald Hill - and is hoping people will go along to try what's on offer.

Relish Cookery's Kathryn Sentence will be working on some tempting recipes, and a number of guest chefs from on and off the Island will be helping her out.

The Cool Seas Roadshow will be there as well, with a lifesize replica of a basking shark, and there will be guided tours of the gardens and sawmills.
