Onshore wind power 'would benefit everyone', but visual impact worse for neighbours

Electricity generated by an onshore wind farm in the south of the Island would benefit everyone, but the visual impact would be a negative for those in the area.

That's from the chief executive officer of Manx Utilities following a series of public meetings.

The organisation has been touring the Island seeking feedback on its Cair Vie proposals.

The last of the meetings took place over the weekend, but feedback can still be sent to Manx Utilities until 11 November.
