Warning for severe gales in place until tomorrow morning
Police are advising residents to only travel if necessary this evening (16 February).
A yellow weather warning for severe gale force winds is now in force until 2am tomorrow morning (17 February).
Ronaldsway met office says gusts of up to 65mph could be felt in some areas which may cause travel disruption and minor damage.
The constabulary adds anyone who needs to travel should allow extra time, plan their route and be vigilant for hazards.
