Minister confident those yet to cash cheques can access payments
The treasury minister says he's confident 19 people who haven't cashed social security cheques from January have got access to their benefits.
Chris Thomas confirmed 10 of the customers choose to cash cheques from time to time, while the other nine have changed their method of payment.
As of 5 March, the 19 individuals had 37 cheques yet to be cashed with a total value of almost £3,000.
The minister says there doesn't seem to be a big number of people needing additional help:
